Matthew qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and joined the firm in 2013.  He is an Associate in our team.

Matthew’s practice predominantly covers all aspects of commercial litigation including breach of contract claims, debt recovery, injunctive relief applications and construction.  In addition, Matthew is focussed on also advising on matters concerning professional negligence, civil fraud and defamation.

Matthew also has a particular emphasis on property related litigation including landlord and tenant matters, boundary disputes, breach of covenant, trespass, nuisance and rights of way.  He frequently advises landlords and management companies in relation to service charge disputes (including claims arising out of alleged historic neglect), service charge and rental debt recovery and actions regarding major works consultations and the right to manage.  Matthew also deals with contentious high value leasehold enfranchisement matters.
