Gerard has a broad commercial and corporate Real Estate practice with experience acting on development, insolvency, investment and real estate finance matters on acquisitions, disposals, and landlord & tenant transactions. Some of his sectors of expertise include industrial, office, retail, real estate portfolios and hospitality, acting for institutional, corporate investors, developers, lenders, and insolvency practitioners. Gerard enjoys working on details-oriented and complex matters including offshore and multi-disciplinary transactions, often working with our corporate and commercial practitioners.

Called to the bar in 2015, Gerard trained at a specialist property firm in London, and developed under several named Legal 500 seniors within a large tier 2 real estate team at the London office of a regional firm. He read History at Cambridge, Political Philosophy at University College London, and Law at Birkbeck College London.

In his spare time, Gerard enjoys playing tennis, cycling, and has recently started to learn Japanese.
