Adrian Scotland


Adrian acts for employers and employees in connection with all aspects of employment law. His work for employers includes:

  • preparing and advising on contractual documentation and non-contractual policies and procedures;
  • managing disciplinary and grievance issues;
  • advising on redundancy and termination of employment; and
  • defending Tribunal proceedings

His work for employees includes:

  • negotiation of termination entitlements and settlement agreements;
  • advising on and assisting with disciplinary and grievance procedures;
  • identifying statutory and contractual breaches by employers; and
  • pursuing claims in the Employment Tribunals and the courts.

Adrian regularly acts for corporations (both UK based and international), senior executives, professionals, charities and local government bodies in connection with a variety of matters. Having originally trained as a barrister, Adrian has a background in commercial litigation & dispute resolution and continues to maintain a varied case-load of contentious work. Adrian was admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2003.
